Recently, Acer unveiled the upcoming Predator Triton Neo 16, which is expected to be available in the UK from March 2024. This new gaming laptop, promises to meet the needs of various types of gamers thanks to the latest Intel Core Ultra processors enhanced by artificial intelligence-based processing and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 series GPU.
The Predator Triton Neo 16 will be equipped with Intel Core Ultra H-series processors, which include a dedicated artificial intelligence module and Intel Application Optimization feature. These new CPU-level features enable more efficient resource management, ensuring optimal functionality for any software or game.
On the GPU side, the Predator Triton Neo 16 will adopt Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop chips that support Nvidia’s latest DLSS technology, DLSS 3.5. This enables gamers to enjoy compatible games with improved resolution through artificial intelligence and ray tracing. Being an Nvidia-Studio Laptop, the laptop can also handle demanding tasks, thus being useful for professionals who will also benefit from the presence of the Nvidia Studio suite and related drivers.
As for the displays, several variants will be available with a 16-inch diagonal and resolutions reaching 3.2K at 165Hz with an aspect ratio of 16:10. The displays will be Calman-certified, ensuring extremely realistic colors ideal for digital creators, with 100 percent color coverage in the DCI-P3 space and support for Nvidia Advanced Optimus and Nvidia G-Sync features for sharp colors.
On the audio side, the Predator Triton Neo 16 is enhanced with Acer Purified Voice 2.0 technology, which uses artificial intelligence-based noise reduction, beamforming, and a third microphone with 3D profile to eliminate voices and external noise, ensuring clear communications.
The Predator Triton Neo 16’s cooling system includes a fifth-generation AeroBlade fan, ducted heat pipes for constant airflow and liquid metal thermal paste on the CPU, keeping the laptop performing without overheating.
Through the Predator Sense 5.0 utility, accessible through the app’s control center, users can select different operating modes for gaming, adjust fan speed, and monitor PC performance in-game. This software also allows users to customize the three-zone RGB keyboard lighting.
The Triton Neo 16 has a variety of ports, including HDMI, two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports and a MicroSD card reader. Domestic availability is scheduled for March 2024, while the price has not yet been announced.
